Family Therapy

Family therapy/relationship therapy is healing and productive because it allows multiple people impacted by a problem to come together to be heard and to be part of the solution. Often times, a problem arises with one or two people such as a child having anxiety or fighting between a mother and daughter. Sometimes we forget that those problems impact other members of the family but they do! Whenever we are in relationship (which is pretty much all the time) problems are experienced by everyone connected to that relationship. Recognizing the problem as one that is best solved as a family/team opens up possibilities for change that cannot be accessed in individual therapy. If you are experiencing conflict and you live within a relationship, chances are family/relationship therapy would be beneficial for you.
